There will be a String Concert on June 28, 12-2pm at Etz Chayim Synagogue. The string group known as Consort a l’Ancienne will perform. A light lunch will be held at noon, followed by Jewish liturgical and Klezmer music at 1pm. Admission for this fundraiser: please bring 5 items for First Stop and Food Pantry in lieu of tickets.

Enjoy a concert of Jewish music and help your community.

It’s now possible to make online donations via credit card!  Visit the Donations page to learn how you can use PayPal to donation securely to the synagogue.

This is a trial program to see how well the congregation likes the convenience.  There is no monthly charge to the congregation!  PayPal does collect 3% of each donation made through the site, but that’s far less than we’d pay with a regular merchant account.

Give the service a try and let us know what you think!

Joe Sacks collects our congregation’s food donations and delivers them every two weeks to local food pantries. Particular items needed include:

  • Canned tuna and other meats
  • Canned vegetables
  • Peanut butter
  • Baby food and supplies
  • Any other non-perishable items

Those doing the Oneg each Friday night are encouraged to bring a little bit extra to donate to the food pantry!
