It is a simple question but we get it alot. What is the dress code? During Shabbat Services on Friday night and Saturday morning we ask that you come dressed as you would in any religious enviromnent. We have a very relaxed and respectful environment. We request no jeans with holes in them, halter tops etc… Listen to your grandmothers voice in your head that says “dress like a mensch and don’t be a schlep.”
Yalmulkes, Kippahs, are available in the foyer. It is our rich tradition that men cover their heads when inside the synagogue out of respect, However ultimately it is your personal choice. Tallit are also available for those special occasions when it is necessary to use them.
