The Communications Committee shall assist the Corresponding Secretary with the dissemination of information to the congregation by phone, email, mail, and other means. The Communications Committee shall be responsible for the publishing of the organization’s newsletter, The Shofar, and other publications, and for maintaining the organization’s website. The Communications Committee shall keep the general public informed, via the media, of important activities within the Synagogue and the Jewish community, and to provide adequate publicity for events sponsored by the Congregation. Additionally, this committee shall ensure members of the community are aware of programs and services offered by Etz Chayim Congregation. The commitee shall maintain the Etz Chayim calendar and the Etz Chayim website.
