2025

Sisterhood Wine & Cheese Event and 2025 Board Installations

Seder, 2025

A crowd of over 60 enjoyed a meaningful and delicious Seder led by Art, who many years ago was the first ever to celebrate his bar mitzvah at EC! Lot’s of our wonderful members worked together to make this a memorable Seder. Thanks to the many volunteers!

Purim, 2025

The Purim Celebration was a success with over 80 people in attendance. Bill presented a lovely service and sing-a-long. The Purim Shpiel was well done by the director and cast, and we had a ton of laughs! EC’s Sisterhood did a terrific job of providing the Hot Dog Dinner(with homemade hamentashen!) for all to enjoy!

2024

Sukkot Concert & Food Drive

Admission to the concert was a donation of food or funds to the Huntsville Food Bank.

Sukkot Craft Project

Miss Donna led a fun kid’s craft activity creating decor for our sukkah! Kids of all ages joined in!

2024 Congregational Picnic

We went up Green Mountain to the Nature Trail, we enjoyed the pretty green trail, the pond with ducks, geese, turtles, and fish, and the pavilion was a good place to enjoy the view. The company wasn’t bad, either!

Lag B’Omer, 2024

A cookout, games, and a nice afternoon made for a fun Lag B’Omer event at EC this year!

Israel’s 76th Yom HaAtzmaut & Rabbi Listfield's 50th Year as a Rabbi!

We enjoyed a delicious brunch sponsored by the Roberts Family in Memory of Ted Roberts. Afterward, we celebrated Rabbi Listfield’s 50th anniversary of his rabbinical ordination, and we also had the IDF liaison speak to us about Israel today.

Family Mitzvah Day

Our Family Mitzvah Day was a huge success! After a brief service, we painted rocks to give to loved ones; wrote letters to IDF soldiers; cleaned toys in our children’s room; made pizzas for our participants; and drew designs on fabric to create a community quilt. Thanks to all who joined in these activities and those who helped organize and volunteer at the various stations. A meaningful and productive day!
