Sisterhood
Sisterhood is the right arm of the
Synagogue. We furnished the kitchen and
keep it running smoothly. We make
sure that Friday night Oneg Shabbats and
Shabbat luncheons are served and are
Kosher.
We have monthly luncheons, business
meetings, educational programs, and
fundraisers. Our major fundraiser
is a community New Year's greeting
booklet and member directory. The
sisterhood also greets new Synagogue
members and strives to make them feel
welcome.
Many of us don't have family here
locally, so we in the sisterhood try to
create a family atmosphere for all our
congregants.
Men's Club
Etz Chayim has an active Men’s club. The Men’s Club sponsors many activities
that benefit the synagogue and particularly the children.
They meet periodically at the
Synagogue for Men's club card parties.
Each year the Men’s club plans and operates a Hanukah Party, a Purim Party,
and the Synagogue Annual Picnic.

Youth Group
Our children meet with the Rabbi for Sunday breakfast / brunch on rabbi weekends. Religious themes of interest are discussed and social activities follow.
Our older children (grade 8-12) are in a joint Youth Group with the Temple children. Biweekly lunch meetings and activities are held on Sunday afternoons.
USY Kadima /Young Judea ( cosponsored with Hadassah) is available for the grade school children. Recreational, educational and joint activities with youth groups from other nearby synagogues are also pursued.
